NNG and GlobeTech Launch Thailand Map Service for NDS.Live Evaluation

Budapest, Hungary – May 27, 2025 – NNG today announces that Thailand sample maps from GlobeTech are now available through the NNG Maps Partner Evaluation Service on the NDS.Live Developer Portal, giving the global NDS community streamlined access to regional map content for evaluation and testing.

GlobeTech—provider of the NOSTRA map platform and more than 20 years’ experience in survey, GIS, fleet management, and in-car navigation, now offers its data via NNG as an NDS.Live-compliant map service. This evaluation service covers 12 sample tiles from the greater Bangkok area, featuring road geometry, topology, functional road class, travel direction, and speed limits—ideal for developing navigation, ADAS, and map visualization solutions for Southeast Asian markets.

The new service extends NNG’s mission to connect respected local content providers with global mobility stakeholders through NDS.Live. Users can now test Thai data alongside existing NNG Maps services for Germany, California, Turkey, and India within the same tools and workflows.

The NDS.Live Evaluation Service allows NDS members and registered users to work with real-world map services—both commercial and open map content—under evaluation terms. It provides:

How to Access the NDS.Live Evaluation Service

Both NDS members and non-member evaluators can access the service through the NDS.Live Developer Portal. Under the “Maps” section, you’ll find the NNG Maps Partner - GlobeTech Thailand map service and follow simple steps to request an API key. 

• NDS members simply need to accept the Terms and Conditions. 

• Non-member evaluators must provide organizational affiliation and intended purpose before receiving a unique evaluation API token.
